We have booked Harkaway Scout camp for the entire weekend, and the Dandy Venturers are staying there Saturday night after the activity, with a couple of leaders.
There is no extra cost for staying Saturday night, as a matter of fact we recomend it as a good way for all Venturers to get to know each other. The Units have a choice of either camping in tents or staying in the bunk house. That decision can be made on the night if you like.If you have any further questions; feel free to return email or contact me on my mobile – 0401 878 355.Goatee (Ian) – Dandenong Venturer Leader. There are a few spots left for the Deep Thought Ideals course being run on the last weekend of the School holidays. July 13-15

If you can circulate the flyer around the other Venturers *& Leaders in your Units and Districts etc that would be great.

Its a great course a lot of fun and its a great place to make some good lasting friends as well as explore some topics that are relevant to Venturer aged people and the bonus is its a part of the Queen’s Scout Award Scheme

This Week 2012-Jun-19 Go Karting

Dear All,

It is confirmed that we have a private booking for 25 participants at the South Morang Go Karting Centre. It’s not a massive deal if there are more!

Address: 465 McDonalds Rd
South Morang, VIC, 3752

They have asked if we can possibly be there by 7:00 am, as the paper work takes some time. If some get there at 7:00 pm and then we arrive in dribs and drabs over the next 30 minutes would be ideal.

The cost is $30.00 / participant.

We will be all in the junior karts, so there is no age limit.

The leaders can sign for participants under the age of 18.

Each participant will get 2 x 15 minute races.

I would imagine that it will take about 2 hours to get everyone through the races.

• 6:30 pm – Leave Eltham.
• 7:00 pm – Arrive at South Morang.
• 7:00 to 7:30 pm – Paper work and booking in.
• 7:30 to 9:30 pm – Racing.
• 10:00 pm – Arrive back at Eltham.

Can you please let Chris know if you can make it.

A Y5 – Special Activities Form [PDF] is required for this Activity. Please print it out, fill it in and get your parent / guardian to sign it.
