The Unit Council Camp is on……….And it is open to the Units in our District, not just Diamond Creek. Numbers will need to be capped due to space restrictions so if you are not from Diamond Creek please ensure you contact Becky, Don or myself (Michael) to confirm numbers ASAP.
This will be a camp only for those elected onto Unit Council and Leaders.
It will be part of being on the Unit Council (Diamond Creek Venturers) so if you are thinking about putting your hand up to be on the Unit Council for Terms 1 & 2, please ensure you mark these dates in your calender.
We will go through the three main positions of being on a Unit Council, those being Chair, Secretary and Treasurer but will also involve other positions that we have as well as other Groups Units may have.
The difference we will be making is this will all be done in the outdoors (weather dependant) and you will gain experience through activities.
Stay tuned for further details, we are sure this will be a fun weekend.
