Code of Conduct – Unit Behaviour

At the 2023-Oct-13 Unit Council three main Unit discipline/behaviour documents were approved for use in the Unit. These are;
1.) Code of Conduct v1.1
2.) Unit Constitution v3.0
3.) Court of Honour v1.0
Please have a read over them so that you understand how they work.

1.) CODE OF CONDUCT
A Unit Code is a way of expressing how members of the Unit are going to act, what acceptable behaviour is, and how members will treat others and the space around them.
A Unit Code is about:
How members of the Unit behave and treat each other
Respecting our environment around us, including people, each other’s property and the natural environment
How to be resilient and courageous in challenging times

📄 Code of Conduct-1stEltham-v1.1

2.) CONSTITUTION
The Constitution is a set of rules and guidelines formulated by the Venturers themselves.
The Unit Council is the governing body responsible for the initial drafting and annual review of the Unit Constitution.
The Unit Council is also responsible, for ensuring that the Unit members follow the guidelines laid down in the constitution.

The document that we refer to as a unit constitution does not comply with the requirements of legislation that govern such documents and is legally a “unit agreement”.

📄 Constitution-1stEltham-v3.0

3.) COURT OF HONOUR
A Court of Honour is an official meeting of the Unit Council constituted to determine various questions of social protocol, breaches of etiquette, and other allegations of breaches of honour. The Unit Constitution states that a Court of Honour is the mechanism to be used for determining penalties for breaches of the Code of Conduct, or for continual disregard of instructions.
